Join us for Home Grown – an evening for Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg at Reckon Acres.
The culinary team from Amber Ox Public House will bring its kitchen right to the Charles City County farm where it sources many of its ingredients for a fundraising dinner to support the House That Small Business Built, a Habitat for Humanity home under construction and funded by the efforts of small businesses throughout the region.
The four-course, family-style dinner will be set in the Reckon Acres pasture right where many of the ingredients were harvested.

ABOUT THE HOUSE THAT SMALL BUSINESS BUILT
Home is where the heart is…and for many small businesses home is where the business is.
That was certainly the story of Consociate Media when it was started on the dining room table of Founder Stephanie Heinatz in 2011. Consociate Media has since outgrown that at-home business, but never lost its heart for home. For family. For remembering where and why we started.
The team at Consociate Media is spearheading the fundraising ($125,000) to help build a home for a widowed father and his family to purchase from the Habitat for Humanity First-Time Homebuyer Program. We are recruiting the community – fellow small businesses, individuals, and more – to help.
It’s true what Helen Keller said. Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.
Dubbed the House that Small Business Built, this home will come together with the contributions of many.
Meet the family who will turn the House That Small Business Built into a HOME.
