When the COVID-19 pandemic first hit the Middle Peninsula community in 2019, we all rallied around our heath care teams, working to provide them as much support as possible as they dealt with a public health crisis unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
Today, as the pandemic surges to new levels, those same health care workers need to know we have their back now more than ever before.
That’s why we’re banding together to do a little something to show them we all care – we’re going to fuel their bodies while they care for ours.
Thanks to Gary and Karen Ward of Olivia’s in the Village and Scoot’s BBQ, we will be able to feed every Riverside health care team member in Gloucester and Mathews, Virginia for roughly $10 per person.
Please help support this effort! Food is planned now for delivery on Wednesday, February 3 and Thursday, February 4, 2021.
Please donate ONLINE HERE before Tuesday, February 2. 100% of your support will go toward this effort!
We are striving to feed over 500 health care workers…and use this opportunity to show them we have their back and appreciate all they are doing to keep us safe!
